On June 9, 2025, coinciding with the official commissioning of the ±800kV Longdong-Shandong Ultra-High Voltage Direct Current (UHVDC) Project, the Group Company received a letter of gratitude from the State Grid UHV Construction Company for the Qingyang ±800kV Converter Station project. The letter highly commended our exceptional professionalism, efficient collaboration, and rigorous work ethic throughout the project execution.
Longdong-Shandong UHVDC Project is China’s first large-scale integrated energy base export initiative featuring "wind-solar-coal-storage integration," with an annual transmission capacity of 36 billion kWh, over 50% of which comes from renewable energy—equivalent to 10% of Shandong Province’s annual electricity consumption.
As the new artery for "West-to-East Power Transmission," the Qingyang ±800kV Converter Station pile foundation project undertaken by our company included 5,605 reinforced concrete bored piles with lengths of 14–40 meters and diameters of 0.6 meters. C30 grade concrete and HRB400E steel reinforcement were used, totaling 38,072.58m³ of concrete pouring and 4,299.63t of steel reinforcement fabrication and installation. Completed in 81 calendar days, the project achieved a peak daily output of 196 piles. All work was delivered within the contractual timeline with zero safety incidents, earning unanimous praise from the client and supervision team. Post-construction tests confirmed that 100% of piles met design load requirements in vertical compression tests, and 100% Class I piles in both low-strain (2,952 piles) and high-strain (268 piles) tests.
