The Phase III 2×660MW Unit Expansion Project of Guoneng Hebei Cangdong Power Generation Co., Ltd. is located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, serving as a crucial supporting project for the third-phase expansion of the Guoneng Cangdong Power Plant. Upon completion, the plant's total installed capacity will reach 2,520MW. The Group Company was responsible for providing third-party monitoring services for all foundation pits of the newly constructed structures, delivering full-cycle, high-precision safety monitoring for the expansion of this major energy base.
The project commenced on August 27, 2024, and concluded its fieldwork on November 20, 2025, spanning 15 months. It successfully completed comprehensive monitoring of 20 foundation pits, including 15 with higher safety requirements (Grade II) and 5 Grade III pits, achieving full coverage of underground construction safety monitoring for the power plant expansion area.
Given the large number of foundation pits with varying safety grades, the project fully employed an automated monitoring system for real-time tracking of horizontal and vertical displacements. This system enables continuous and synchronous data collection from multiple monitoring points, significantly enhancing monitoring efficiency and data continuity. Through real-time transmission and intelligent processing, it can sensitively detect subtle deformation trends, markedly reducing manual observation errors and data latency. This provides precise and reliable data support for dynamic stability assessment and risk early warning of the foundation pits. The application of this technology has comprehensively elevated the informatization and intelligence level of on-site safety management and control, ensuring overall safety in an environment with multiple foundation pits under simultaneous construction.
